My friend was searching for Xian food and found this spot so we gave it a try. As soon as we took our first bites, we were all impressed! All of the dishes were good but each of us had our personal favorite. I loved the "three topping spicy noodle" the most. I would definitely recommend getting this. The owner is nice but her English is very limited. Luckily my friend knows how to speak a bit of Mandarin because I needed to ask where the bathroom was (it's in the back and you have to walk through their kitchen). Don't worry though, you order on your phone through a QR code anyways. Great little hole in the wall worth checking out!

Small and cozy authentic Xi An food. Can't complain about the service and atmosphere was cozy. I love the Liang Pi. It's good for a solo lunch.

I found this place on Yelp in the vicinity of my neighborhood cuz I planned on walking there. I came on a Wednesday around 5pm and it was empty. I walked in and took a look at the menu and the sever waited patiently. I'm pretty sure they only speak Chinese here / very little English since they immediately greeted me in Chinese. I ordered to go and they prepared my order quickly. I got the cold noodles in sesame sauce and the lamb hamburger. The cold noodles came with all the sauces on the side so allowed you to add as much or as little sauce as you wanted but I went with adding everything of all the sauces. It had a great authentic taste that wasn't too overpowering in any way. I prefer things spicier so I added some more chili oil. The noodles are nice and bouncy and hand pulled !!! The lamb hamburger was sooo flavorful. I do think the bread couldn't been a little better maybe toasted or something but it was a good balance with the flavors of the lamb. This little hole in the wall was a nice surprise and I'll be back to try more dishes !

I'm always on the look out for new restaurants to try in SGV. My craving of the week was noodles, so I looked at various noodle places in the area. I saw this restaurant served Shaanxi style noodles, which I'd never had before, so I decided to give it a try. My wife got spicy soup noodles and I ordered stir fried handmade cumin noodles with lamb. The server was quick and response and explained the menu thoroughly. The restaurant itself is very small but clean. The food came fairly quickly. My wife's noodles were too spicy for me, even with one bite, but she loved the noodles. My cumin noodles are just slightly spicy and perfect for me, with a slight kick. I loved the lamb as well, which was tender and delicious. Solid restaurant for sure, and I would come back.

After visiting Xi'An literally 2 months ago, I knew my taste buds changed forever. I now cannot go a few months without a taste of their biangbiang mian or roujiamuo. This place is tiny, and is reflected by the small parking lot. I ended up parking on the street on a Saturday night. I actually found this place via xiaohongshu, and people wrote good reviews on there. Are they authentic? Yes. Is it reasonably priced? 100%. Would I come back? Definitely. If you come here, you order their 3 TOPPINGS SPICY NOODLE. All caps because it's their signature, and a signature dish of Xi'An. People who aren't giving this dish 5 stars definitely haven't been to Xi'An. This bowl of oily and spicy noodles transported me back to the historic city. The liangpi (cold noodles) was okay; the noodles were a little too thick for my taste, so the flavor was slightly washed out by the carbs. The roujiamuo (or Chinese hamburger) carried the scent you smell when browsing Xi'An night markets. The bread was alright, but the meat was full of flavor. Service is pretty good, although not typical to your ABC/american restaurant quality. That's how you know they are good. The noodles came pretty fast since I assume they make their toppings in advance. Apparently people got a problem with that, but w/e. They also carry a lot of drinks from China, so you're getting the full experience (even the water wasn't ice cold!). If you're looking for an authentic Xi'An noodle house, this is the place! Although it's called wen hui noodle, its Chinese name translates to Xi'An Hand Noodle (西安手工面). Will definitely be back and will definitely be recommending this place to my Chinese friends!
